Users Tab

< 1 min read

As the account that registered the website for Deflect protection, your account is regarded as the owner of the website on Deflect. If you wish to assign a team member to manage Deflect, you can invite them through the Users Tab.

To manage your website’s users, click on Users in the sidebar. A window with a list of users and a form for adding new users to the Deflect control panel will appear.

If you want to allow new users to access the control panel for the selected website, just enter the new user’s email address in the form and click on Add user. The new user will be added to the “Current users” list.

If this user is new to Deflect, they will receive an email with their new password.

Permissions #

Two types of permission classes are available, Administrator and Collaborator. Administrators have almost full access to Deflect features, with the exception of actions specific to owners, such as deleting the website and manage billing. On the other hand, Collaborators only have read-only access, which is useful for reading stats, and submitting hosting request.
